Marketing serves as the primary stewards of the university brand, leading management of the creative platform that defines how we represent ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ in visuals and messaging. In addition, Marketing supports university partners in the creation of materials and campaigns, particularly for enrollment and recruitment initiatives and university branding.
Specific functions include creative direction and strategy, marketing messaging and copywriting, advertising planning and management, digital design, brand and recruitment video production, marketing photography, environmental branding, editorial feature writing and editing, and publishing of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Magazine.
Communication leads strategic messaging for the university and proactively shares important stories through media relations, , campus news, social media channels, and the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ News Center.
In addition, Communication manages an internal beat system for coordinating messaging and supporting efforts among ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s colleges, schools, and administrative units. Communication also supports ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Police Department communication and safety alert processes as well as university crisis planning and emergency procedures.
