In 1948, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ President Edward J. O'Donnell, S.J., had an idea: Gather all the members of the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ family who served the university for 25 years or more. Those dedicated individuals, he said, "should be recognized for the heart, soul, energy, and love they all gave to the university over a lifetime."
